The TOP 10 BEST Recipes of 2021

With over five million views, here are the TOP 10 most popular recipes from South Your Mouth from 2021!

Well, 2021’s a wrap! There was some really amazing stuff and some pretty horrible stuff and lots of life lived and memories made in between.

I read something this morning that went, “If you choose not to find joy in the snow, you will have less joy in your life but still the same amount of snow.” And that's some truth right there. Even this Southern gal (who won't see a lick of snow) understands that message.

I’m looking forward to seeing what 2022 has to offer and plan on finding joy in whatever it is and making the best of it!

And speaking of the best, I thought I’d share the TOP 10 most popular recipes of 2021 at South Your Mouth!

    1. THANK YOU!!! I do love to gab so writing comes pretty easy! I make money from the ads that you see while you're on my site and from the cookbooks (thank you for that too!!).

  3. Well considering your hot dog chili actually made me CRAVE hot dogs for the first time in my life (and I'm old so that's saying something) I would put that on this list for me.
I will tell you though, I have NEVER been disappointed with any of your recipes and I've tried many of them. In fact, when I'm doing a new one and my husband asks what it is, all I say it 'It's a Mandy Meal." and he replies with "OH, good." Never a single question about what is in it or how it is done. He knows a Mandy Meal is going to be delicious--always is.
So I just want to thank you so much for sharing them all with the world. Food is my love language and your recipes help me share that with my family.

  4. Your cheesy chicken enchiladas have been on our rotation list monthly since first trying them! My 11 year old grandson requests them at least once a week and I have to let him know when I’m making them. He has learned to cook just because of these enchiladas! And I agree with the above comment on your hotdog chili! The best there is and all we use now! Thanks a bunch.

Hi there! While I’m not able to respond to every comment, I try hard to answer any questions that haven’t been addressed in the post, recipe or in other comments.

I can tell you now 1) I have no idea if you can substitute Minute Rice or brown rice in my recipes because I’ve never used them and 2) If I know how to convert a recipe to a Crock Pot version, I will make a note about it (otherwise, I don’t know).

And though I may not respond to them all, I do read each and every comment and I LOVE to hear from you guys! Thanks, y’all! - Mandy
