  2. With regard to Salmon Patties: Red Salmon is much tastier than Pink Salmon. It costs a bit more, but you'll definitely taste the difference. Not only do I drain the can of salmon in a colander, but I always squeeze mine dry with my hand, & save the liquid if I need it for later. I always add a decent sprinkle of Old Bay Seasoning, and I use whole wheat Panko breadcrumbs. I always add diced celery (but not too finely diced) for crunch & flavor. Shifanoted parsley & celery leaves also add a huge amt. of flavor. Like it or not, ....I'm just sayin' it's delicious.
