I know this recipe makes a lot but I was told next time I need to double it! I'm not one for hot or spicy foods but this is the perfect combo of heat and sweet. Served over a bed of rice, you can't go wrong! Thank you so much for this recipe!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01059003319028216633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848110156569017758.post-24331111395705903142015-09-30T18:27:18.706-04:002015-09-30T18:27:18.706-04:00And another gets bookmarked, thank you for sharing...And another gets bookmarked, thank you for sharing!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848110156569017758.post-29859148315292223782015-06-04T23:11:44.923-04:002015-06-04T23:11:44.923-04:00Wonder how this would work as a "wings" ...Wonder how this would work as a "wings" recipe? Boneless, skinless chicken breast can be so dry and I really LOVE wings.
Ernie Hendrixhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00910070163714342483noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848110156569017758.post-1666683255828798702014-08-22T20:46:29.364-04:002014-08-22T20:46:29.364-04:00I (mostly) followed your recipe tonight, but also ...I (mostly) followed your recipe tonight, but also referenced a similar recipe on Chung-ah's blog Damn Delicious -- and I have to say, I recommend going ahead and "velveting" your chicken in one step (i.e. coating in cornstarch and egg all at once, rather than doing the 2-step process). I think it comes out just as well and ends up being less hassle/most consistently coated. (At least that's my opinion!)

That said, this recipe just exactly as-is is killer, man. Really good. I did add extra soy sauce and garlic, and mixed in some five spice powder to make it taste "extra Chinese," but the sauce alone [uncooked, even] is sooooo tasty. Maybe that's just Frank's Redhot for you, but man. So good. :)

Thanks for sharing this awesome recipe!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848110156569017758.post-4296139055401059042014-05-19T12:25:33.683-04:002014-05-19T12:25:33.683-04:00This is interesting. If you are going to make something like General Tso's Chicken (which I think is very similar) you mix the eggs and the cornstarch together...susan259https://www.blogger.com/profile/16148792672191645567noreply@blogger.com
