I make it for picnics and parties also. However, one thing we do differently is that we use cooked ham and get it chipped/shaved. And we fry the ham first before putting it in the crock with the sauce. Frying takes out most of the water & grease from the ham. It's time consuming, but worth it!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848110156569017758.post-64924698581294049672021-10-31T03:16:53.027-04:002021-10-31T03:16:53.027-04:00Whats the best bbq to use ??Whats the best bbq to use ??Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04460290490357592420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848110156569017758.post-6331133027580395252017-06-04T13:13:06.988-04:002017-06-04T13:13:06.988-04:00I almost purchased asian chili sauce

What I mean is the little 2-3 pound boneless hams in the meat department that are really just deli hams that haven't been sliced yet.Mandy Rivershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06710513097645421429noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848110156569017758.post-45768651789945232132013-08-14T10:56:07.857-04:002013-08-14T10:56:07.857-04:00When we say "small whole ham" ... do you...When we say "small whole ham" ... do you mean like a ham you'd serve for Easter? Because this looks really good, and I don't imagine shaving a spiral sliced ham looking like the picture. I loved them and now I make them when I need a quick supper. She made them with chipped (you guys call it shaved in the south) chopped ham in the deli and exactly like your only without the chili sauce. And I just read the comment above and see I am not the only PA person who has had these, lol :) Now that I live in SC when I make these "BBQ Sandwiches" native southerners look at me like I lost my mind. I like them though :)Jenny Rnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848110156569017758.post-11423004115607033822013-08-13T12:51:36.422-04:002013-08-13T12:51:36.422-04:00That looks amazing! Growing up, my mom only put the chili sauce in it but combining with the bbq sauce sounds delish. Dinner one night this week!!bkellynoreply@blogger.com
